We don’t know how long this has been going on or if it’s new but we’ve never heard about it so HOLY CRAP you can buy Ikea products on Amazon right now! That’s right, you can get Ikea’s affordable furniture with the one click convenience of Amazon.
No more taking a trip to some far off Ikea in the middle of nowhere. No more marking down what aisle and row a lamp part is. No more waiting in terribly long lines. This is good, people. The only thing that’s bad is that you can’t get meatballs. Okay that and there’s also a price mark up on the Amazonian Ikea products (some larger than others) but it’s definitely a lot easier to click and get shipped on Amazon than navigate the archaic and sometimes brutal Ikea online store.
But be smart! Crosscheck prices and see if the price difference is worth it to you. I’m already thinking about buying a milk frother just because it’s so damn cheap and it’s eligible for Prime shipping. I can be frothing milk by Friday! [IKEA via Kottke]
